Advanced placement Chemistry students from Colonie Central High School recently attended an NMR workshop at Hudson Valley Community College. The workshop introduced the students to the chemical analysis tool of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) that helps to determine very precisely the composition of specific substances.
The class was hosted by Erin Rennells, a South Colonie parent and instructor in the Biology, Chemistry and Physics Department.
